He's pretty crass and brutal. Very harsh, very rude, very un-PC. But absolutely brilliant delivery. Australia's answer to Jimmy Carr.

I wish I'd actually been old enough to see Mitch and Bill live. They're two of my idols.

No Bill Bailey. Disappointing. Having seen both him and Dylan Moran, I think Bill Bailey is slightly better. The whole musical aspect helps.

Stephen K Amos? Been meaning to see him at the Adelaide Fringe for a few years now...

Bill Bailey is a superb musician and a funny guy. But I don't think he's on the same level as the rest of the guys I mentioned. His act is amusing in a different way. Likewise, I'm a big fan of Christopher Titus...but I wouldn't consider him one of my favourite stand-up comedians. I regard them both as general 'entertainers'.

I'm seeing Alex Williamson next month at the Comedy Festival, over the last couple of years I've seen Dave Thornton, Lawrence Leung and Sam Simmons and rated them all.
Don't really have a favourite stand up though.
