US is in trouble as they lost the first match against Mexico.
Mexico is probably out as they lost to 2 games including against Canada after big fist fight.

If you think the commentator is passionate about baseball you should hear him commentate Starcraft each week.

As I walked through Taipei tonight Taiwanese in every shop were fixated on the game, you could hear the roar from everywhere each time they scored a run. Dudes on the train were crowding around someone watching it on an Iphone. I've never seen the Taiwanese react like this to a sporting event before, unfortunately they are all very disappointed tonight but apparently still have a chance to go through to the next round if they win the next 2 games.

Japan 4-3 Chinese Taipei

Nerve wracking game for Taiwanese and Japanese.
8th inning onward, every time pitcher got in pitching motion, it evoked ultimate uneasiness and desperate prayer.
Both team throwed in all resources available today.
Taiwan led Japan twice and lost game in the end, after 5 hours of deadly tense game.
The best game for Japan, ultimate nightmare for Taiwan.

2nd Round, Japan 3-3 Chinese Taipei at the top of 9th
Incredible dead heat, Taiwan took lead and Japan equalized twice.

2nd round is double elimination.
Whichever losing this game has to win next two games in order to stay in the game.
