'Sydney is stupid, Brisbane is boring'

A MAP of London created using the first coherent result in Google's auto-complete options shows what people really think about each area.

It's not very flattering. In the London map Whitechapel is Satanic, Soho is becoming too commercial, Hackney is dangerous and Wembley is a dump.

So what happens when we try it with Australia? Afraid we're not much better.

Here's what happened when we used Google auto complete on Australia's capital cities. Try it and tell us what you get below.

Sydney is expensive and stupid
Melbourne is better than Sydney
Adelaide is a hole
Darwin is my homeboy
Brisbane is boring
Perth is my city and I love it
Hobart is the captial of which Australian state?
Canberra is in which state
So Hobart and Canberra don't even know where they are.

Let's take a look at the state results.

New South Wales is in ... (that's it, they can't even complete a sentence)
Victoria is in recession
Tasmania is boring (we're getting a bit of a theme here)
South Australia comes up with Probate South Australia what is it
Western Australia is famous for
Queensland is everywhere
Northern Territory is not a state
The ACT is a joke

What about if we delve a little deeper into some of the cities?

Bondi is best
Newtown is fashion
Penrith is here (like old school graffiti)
St Kilda is in Melbourne

Melbourne: More concerned with Sydney than itself.

People from Melbourne wouldn't be googling that though. We already know it's true. That's just the rest of Australia confirming what's already known.

Been to both sydney and Melbourne. Sydney seems very pretentious and really, there's not a lot to do there. melbourne is better.

Have lived in both, can confirm the above to be true.

Melbourne is better than Sydney. Sydney is the only Australian City I have ever lived in.
