They held an exhibition match between the Aboriginals and Maoris before the open cermony in the last one. The 2000 one included a Maori side. Rugby League international rules are silly. You have to commit to one of Australia, New Zealand or England and then can never play for the other two but if you don't get selected you can play for any other nation you want so long as you can find a random link to it.

World Class Group: Forum Members Posts: 6.5K, Visits: 0	league is my second sport so i don't mine the world cup, it is a joke but its good to watch some of the smaller teams. tonga and samoa teams have quite a few NRL and super league players so they aren't that bad. it is pretty much a tournament for just AUS,NZL and Eng. it shows how AFL is the only aus sport that can't have a world cup. its like our gridiron, but i think thats played in a few countries though
