http://au.fourfourtwo.com/news/277929,antonis-set-to-start-season-at-sydney.aspxQuote: Meanwhile the club is on track to meet its target of 10,000 members, about 1500 up on last season’s record.
...
But the Sky Blues enjoyed the second highest crowd averages of 2012/13 after Melbourne Victory, and Pignata said the 45,000-capacity Allianz Stadium means less pressure on fans to sign up.
“We have a big stadium to come into so a lot of (fans) may not buy a membership but they attend games,” he said. “We had an average of about 19,000 last year.
“People sometimes feel there’s no need to go out and get a membership because they can always go on the day.
“But we’re hopeful that people will sign up because if you buy a membership you’re not only helping the club but you’re also saving some dollars if you do go to games.”
The membership tally currently sits at just over 6000.

You are boring. and heck.. you laughing at yourself. I hope macedonia is not full of creeps like you This Macedonia guy is a bit knocked off and I wouldn't take him too seriously. Around Sydney Olympic his nickname is Fruto (as in fruitcake). Oh and I've seen him at a bunch of WSW matches (and the Final) chanting along with the rest of us.

Heart have now hit the 3000 mark, with 3018 now signed up.
That's an increase of 93 since Tuesday. Not bad.

Hmm let's see, four way race between Heart, Brisbane, Adelaide and Central Coast?
Now how will each one track these coming months and who overtakes who? :p
Though I guess we know that Brisbane and Heart have slightly bigger targets than the rest.
Central Coast Mariners are ALREADY 'the winner' for me. Only a few hundred off their record set last season (3,600 IIRC?) and again, like many have said, still a good couple months or so till season start. As they have said, they are ofcourse tracking well ahead of what they were at this time last year too!
So MAYBE this means, for the Mariners, that their 'on-field success' is FINALLY kicking in 'off it'? Let's hope so! They seem to be barnstorming their way towards their long held 5k goal!

For the Mariners, its been amazing to see the struggle to get members on board, even with such success each year. After a championship, its great to see them getting good growth in numbers. MH had a poor season last time around which will make it harder to gain significant growth at this stage. If things go well in the early rounds, that may start to increase well though, but many still appear to be waiting to see exactly what moves the club makes next in signing players.

I think that's how we got Adelaide's number so it's worth a shot
