The fact they are all full season ticket holders and not the shit the AFL come up with, 1 game meemberships to boost their numbers is great. We are going from strength to strength, our next target is to get 2 million supporters through the gates for the season hopefully within the next 2-3 years.

How do you know that these are all season ticket holders? Got any source for that? Generally A-league clubs only sell season memberships before the season. Although I know some clubs like CCM have started selling pet memberships. But safe to say 80-90% of those tallies would be season tickets. Usually once the season has started they package up an attractive run of home fixtures for a 3-5 game membership.

Interesting from the article states: "In addition to the Mariners’ 3,515 fully paid Members, the Club also had 545 youngsters registered via its ‘Mariners Mates’ program. Mariners Mates enables kids 16 and under registered to play football on the Central Coast and in the Northern Suburbs Football Associations admission to all 13 of the Club’s Hyundai A-League 2013/14 matches at Bluetongue Stadium for just $10." In AFL land that would be 4,060 (3,515 + 545) members being reported.
