I can see a big spike in memberships in the week leading up to the 1st game, there has been fuck all spoken about the A league in the past 6 months in Melbourne and when the egg chasing finishes is when we might get a bit of publicity to help memberships im sure it is the same in most states.

Another 10k memberships is possible! 80k memberships would be a great number. Just on Heart, apparently they got 6.5k members last year. But I'm pretty sure that includes the 5-game memberships that came out during the season. Can anybody confirm this? Coz if that's right, they really probably had 5000-5500 season ticket holders last season. That'd mean that they'd be close to record membership numbers soon. And with the signings they've had so far you'd think they'll keep getting more members before October 12. If this is right then Heart are on track for a good year in terms of membership. Not all doom & gloom it seems.

Perth got 5k members last season, I'm not expecting a huge uplift this season. They might get a few more but I'm not expecting a huge spike. Don't get me wrong, I hope that happens, but I cant see it at this stage! So if they only get about 5k, where are we gonna get the other 15k from?

Yes that does include 5 games memberships. 4750 is what we got by round one last season (don't know how many full memberships we got in total since i'm sure we sold more and i expect us to pass that in the next few days. I also think we especially will see a spike in memberships when Kewell is the face of the A-League commercial (they filmed it a few days ago).

At the AUFC fan forum, I caught Russell Sargeant for a while after, and one of the questions I asked him was about Parra stadium. He said that Lyall is still convinced it will be done in time for season but he thinks its more like to be round 4-5

Have to give credit to the Central Coast, despite on field success it is a small area not even the NRL will touch. Their social media campaign has been fantastic with 'target 5k'. Great graphics, achievable but challening target and easy to find links for membership. Top Stuff.

Great work. And if we do get the the Maltese Mosquito we may well see a decent boost from that move. The Maltese fans are waiting with nervous anticipation :)
