Lost cause here. We're at 8k currently and will struggle to make it to 9k IMO. Maybe a very late surge for people who have forgotten to purchase memberships when the season is a week or two away - but I really can't see us getting much more. The Newcastle people have spoken - GvE's team is not worthy of their support.

Perth Glory are under 5k according to their official CEO on twitter. No mention of exactly how far under.

Was just coming to mention that. Personally, I'm concerned. Have to put at least some of the blame for slow take-up on the membership team faffing around doing god knows what and sending membership reminders without renewal forms and things like that.

Perth aren't looking great. When you're getting beaten by Heart and a decent day for the Mariners could put them in front you know you're doing something wrong.

Adelaide aren't flash hot either, maybe all the support unrest is costing the club memberships?

we are around double the total of this time last year.

Last years total was 4.5k, and our record is 5.5k.

We are tracking well imo, just maybe not as high as some others around the league, but still very postive imo.

The supporter unrest has mostly been addressed and everything is positive atm.

If they have over 4k now with 4 weeks to go when last year they had 5k then whats the problem?

Oh really. I didn't realise Adelaide were already doing better. I figured they would have more members as being a nicely established team who haven't done too badly over the last few years.

tbh, Considering things, Glory are doing a little better than I expected - Mind you my expectations were awfully low, given the issues Nate and others have mentioned. But there was also the issue of the stadium capacity being reduced last season and the transition to the new upgraded venue, delays there, changes and what not - so presumed that may also affect take up/re-take up?

But anyway, the recruiting team or whoever is behind this, needs to be held to account - Just not up to scratch, professionally, compared to not only A-League rivals, but rival sporting teams within Perth, I'm sure. It's a competitive market place and your organisation needs to be tip top to secure every one of those valuable customers and too improve your brand/word of mouth so it's more appealing to more 'potential customers'. The bad word of mouth that can be generated by the kinds of things we've seen is something a club like this should be avoiding! Even IF it seems 'relatively minor' in the wider scheme of things.

Heart now 4,772. That's 62 since this morning if I recall correctly. Good movement, I suspect some of those membership counts will start to gather momentum heading into round 1 from this point on. Let us hope so at least.
