Starting to wonder if we'll ever receive another update from Jets HQ again? Pv4?

Where did you get this figure cause they put the counter back up and it says 9260.

Someone posted on Sydney FC FB page asking what happened to the counter and Sydney FC replied saying that was the figure

ah well, not much of a jump or perhaps even wait, to get the extra 150 or so to reach that mark, nor to get to that magical, 10k 'goal' of theirs!

It's still pleasing to see SFC now officially in 'new record territory' and if they can grow well beyond the 10k mark, even before season start, that's an 'additional achievement' IMHO.

So SFC may reach towards more what Joffa, Gyfox and Robbos talk about, even despite their larger venue. 12-15k members could be a realistic target for SFC next season, on the proviso of several conditions - particularly 'success'? Another big proviso being - hopefully they won't be as reliant on the ADP factor, come end of season.

Can't believe how much the momentum has stalled for MH lately. We were getting very strong numbers but seemingly that has slowed to a trickle.

Not good is it? Put it down to AFL GF week so zero coverage compared to minimal, and shit pre season results. We will be lucky to get 5,600 odd by the start of the season compared to the optimistic figure of 6,000

I had thought 6K by Round 1 was an extremely optimistic, but the rate of drop off has certainly been surprising.

Your right though, the absolute AFL saturation here over the last few days in particular is depressing, and surely is taking away airtime from our code. Hopefully the increased news coverage leading up to round 1 does lead to a decent spike in memberships at MH but not holding my breath.

Mind you, our pre-season form has done little to inspire confidence.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but it would be interesting to know how SFS membership affects Sydney FC memberships. I have a few friends who like myself have SFS memberships. I purchase a bronze SFC membership because I would rather sit with the more passionate supporters. However, these other friends would understandably rather not pay the extra money and just sit in the members.

So I guess my questions are:
1) Does SFS membership potentially prevent people becoming members of SFC? and
2) Do any other stadiums have members that would not be included in club membership numbers?

Etihad have Medallion Club but since Victory play half/half at Etihad/AAMI then you'd think a fan would buy a membership to guarantee seats at AAMI.

CH I'm fairly certain there's heaps of Suncorp members at Brisbane, so Roar's figures are always hard to properly judge

The Mariners have Mariner Mates which are cheap tickets sold to juniors playing in the CC Association ... they are not included in the full membership tally ...

Just for bragging rights for a couple of days ... who is going to call breaking the 80K ...

News Videos | Photos Important Member Launch update

Tuesday, 1 October 2013 9:13 AM

The format of the Newcastle Jets’ Member Season Launch at Hunter Stadium on Thursday has changed due to maintenance work to improve the playing surface.

The substantial upgrade will ensure the pitch is in the best possible condition for the Jets’ first home game against Perth Glory on October 20.

Stadium management has advised the Newcastle Jets that the Club’s proposed ‘Jets versus Jets’ intra-club trial match can no longer be played at the venue due to its impact on new grass that has been planted and sewn.

The Member Season Launch, proudly supported by Major Partner nib, will still take place at Hunter Stadium this Thursday at 4.30pm, with a number of other fan engagement activities being organised in place of the intra-club trial match.

Jets Members will still have the opportunity to meet and interact with their favourite Newcastle Jets players, who will be available for autographs and photo opportunities at the event.

Those in attendance will be able to participate in an open Q&A with a panel comprising of Jets players and coaching staff, while tours of the Jets’ home change room as it is set-up on match day will also be occuring.

The Jets NEW 2013/14 official merchandise range will also be available to purchase at the event.

The Newcastle Jets' Aurizon Junior Holiday Clinic will go ahead as planned at Hunter Stadium on Thursday, with registrations taking place at 1.30pm in the Western Concourse. The clinic will commence at 2.30pm and conclude at 4pm.

Meanwhile, the Jets are now scheduled to play their intra-club trial match at Ray Watt Oval at 10am on Thursday morning, with all the Club’s Members and supporters welcome to attend.

Members Season Launch
Hunter Stadium
Thursday, October 3
Event commences 4.30pm

Important Points
• This event is exclusive for 2013/14 Jets Members
• You must bring your 2013/14 Membership Card to gain entry through the turnstiles
• Members are welcome to sign up new Members at the Box Office before entering the Stadium
• Members who do not have their Membership Card will need to collect a temporary pass from the Box Office at the main entrance
• Parking will be available at the Stadium via Turton Road

Collect your Membership Inclusions
Member inclusions (subject to the package you purchased) will be available for collection at the launch. Outlets will be opened on the lower western concourse and Members must present their redemption vouchers to receive their Member inclusions.

The Newcastle Jets encourage all Members to collect their products at the launch to avoid queues at the opening home match (Newcastle Jets v Perth Glory, Sunday October 20)

Email just now:

Quote:
From Arnie, from Hutch, from Mike, Mossy, Peter, Patrick, and Pauly – in fact from each and every one of us here at the Central Coast Mariners Football Club, we want to say ‘Thanks’!

Thanks for your cheers, your tears, your passion and pride.

Thanks for your tweets, your shares, your comments and likes.

Thanks for your commitment, your campaigning, your strength and support.

And last but not least, thanks for remaining or becoming a Mariners Member at this exciting point in your Club’s history!

It is because of you that today – with 11 days still to go until our Round 1 blockbuster against Western Sydney Wanderers at Bluetongue Stadium – we’ve surpassed 5,000 Members for the Hyundai A-League 2013/14 campaign.

It’s been a team effort. From Anne to Tyson, ‘Dave the designer’ and our valued volunteers, we’ve all banded together to achieve what is, at the moment, a 45 per cent increase on last year’s Membership figure.

On a per capita basis we possess the second best Membership numbers in the competition, giving us a great platform for off field growth in line with our league leading football department.

And we have well over 2,000 additional $10 ‘Mariners Mates’ Members on the Coast and in Sydney’s Northern Suburbs ready to help make Bluetongue buzz.

To you, we say, 'Bravo'! And thanks for choosing to be on board for the exciting times ahead!

CCMFC.

Question for Mariners fans. Are more casual supporters buying up memberships or is there more general interest from the wider public? Either way 5000 members is a fantastic achievement. The quality of football over the last few seasons certainly warrants such support.

013/14 Membership Sales
Progressive figures show that we have 5,107 members to date, well on track to record the club’s highest ever figure having already easily surpassed last year’s figure. Each Hyundai A-League club has different forms of memberships making direct comparisons virtually impossible, as such we can only make comparisons to our past records. We will be introducing a range of introductory memberships, at all times protecting the integrity of season ticket holders. We should be proud of what we have in SA and especially the support of our fans.

3.Melbourne Victory - 23,000
4.Newcastle Jets - 11,000

6.Adelaide United - ?
7.Perth Glory - ?
8.Wellington Pheonix - 4,000
9.Melbourne Heart - 6,500
10.Brisbane Roar - 10,000
