when matt bingley left sydney fc he went to hamilton olympic in newcastle nbn league - was getting paid $1000 a game, $100 extra per goal, and they got him a high-paying job in newcastle (from reports, and close-to-happenings sources). the illawarra league is renowned for paying big $ for players - a mate of mine went down there a year or two ago & was getting paid a bucketload. $1200-$1500 per game for a recent hal player isn't that steep tbh

Yep, there are players in the Illawarra PL on huge cash! I've heard of some over the $2000 mark.

Yeah, seemed alot of money to me too, ALOT for, how many games is he contracted for? But I'm not au fait with Semi-Pro football and what the going rates are, but going by your post they seem to be spending above average?! It isn't even the NSWPL I see!

With Heffernan, dare I say, that kind of investment might be better spent elsewhere? Though I presume it's only covering not too many games?
