The woman is seriously delusional (it's always a bit of a giveaway that something is going to go awry when you hear the words "God told me to...") and the husband seems to fluctuate between aggressive and whipped by his wife.

WOW.. riveting stuff, I have never ever felt more inclined to post something on a companies facebook page but there is nothing I can say that she would take on board.

He husband needs to tell her to stay home and employ a chief but that's only half the problem, fancy keeping staff tip's? fuck me, and he must be pussy whipped, looking at him and her, she is way better looking but really how could you fuck that after hearing it speak. He simply can't say no to her.

A friend of mine has a good rule of thumb, if less than 5% of your customers have a problem, the issue is with them, if greater than 5% you need to look at yourself.

That's one complaint for every 20 customers you serve. I work in a restaurant where on a Friday night we'd do 200 covers. If I got 10 complaints in a night I'd be taking my staff out back and giving them an earful.

As for keeping staff tips, I have no words.

Especially given how little they earn in the US. The waitress that got fired did an AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Reddit and confirmed she got $8 an hour. By the reactions apparently this is the norm there.

The point of the wage they're paid is that it's basically the employer paying the tax on the tips that the employee earns. So for the employer to stick their hand in the tip jar in any way is disgusting.

His comment at the end about Americans, just made me chortle rather loudly. :lol:

For anyone keeping up with this, they're doing a relaunch of the store on 21/05/2013 with a Q & A session prior to opening. they're asking for the people of Stockdale (and larger area I guess) to come and see for themselves. I think this is going to be either a complete rebranding of the business or they are going to implode on such an epic scale that they're going to burn the building to the ground and salt the earth so as nothing shall ever grow or prosper there again!

that's gold. I really don't understand these people. Why they agree to go on this show and then continue to blame everyone else.

They believed that Gordon was going to come on the show and say how wonderful their restaurant was to show the haters "were" wrong...

I guess it would be like agreeing to go on the Jerry Springer show, thinking that it was an episode about how healthy your relationship is.
