They are in my sig, right at the end  And they showed England vs. Brazil a few days back live so more than Socceroos. unless i am blind, or you support too many teams to fit on my computer screen, the socceroos are not in your sig. Clearly a) or b), since they've been in AJohn's sig for as long as I can remember ;)

Also, in response to the AJohn thing, Gooner4Life is an Arsenal and Brighton fan and no one has a go at him for that.

How many times does he have to explain his completely legitimate reasons. On Thwaite, would be a great move. Hope for his sake he'll move to a team that he can start in rather than sit on the bench. At 30 he doesnt have time to break into the team as such. Did you completely ignore my explanation? Most people haven't lived in three different countries before they turn 10  As for the two clubs in a country thing. 1) Wellington aren't in Australia. Technically not from the same country as Brisbane. They're not from Auckland either which is handy. 2) Lots of people have a local rubbish team (Which Blackpool were when I was younger, never thought I'd see them in the Top Flight again but shit happens), and a big team that gets TV appearances and you could actually watch matches of (in my case Liverpool, because of my Mum) Edited by AJohn: 2/6/2013 07:09:25 PM AJohn why don't you support the Socceroos? Thwaite is the most over-rated player to wear a Socceroos shirt and that is saying something...cough....carney...cough

Roar #1 wrote:I just don't know how someone can truly support so many different clubs and countries. :) Born in Blackpool, moved to Brisbane, raised in Brisbane for a few years, moved to NZ, puberty during NZ, raised by Mum a Liverpool fan. I'm a dual-English/Australian citizen with all my important memories in NZ. To be fair I haven't had the normal childhood experience to be able to pick a single local team. Cool? Cool. Apologies if this has already been posted. Quote:Sky Sports understands a number of English clubs are eyeing Australia defnder Michael Thwaite.
Perth Glory ace Thwaite has caught the eye for club and country over the last couple of years and his performances have alerted several sides in England.
The likes of Middlesbrough, Leicester, Blackpool and Premier League new boys Crystal Palace are all thought to be keeping tabs on Thwaite.
The 6ft 3in centre-back has been included in the A-League All Stars team to face Manchester United in July and his suitors are expected to watch him in action in Australia's upcoming games against Japan, Jordan and Iraq next month.
Thwaite has experience of playing in Europe after spells with Wisla Krakow and SK Brann and he is thought to be keen on a switch to England.
The player's agent, Jamie Holsgrove, confirmed a number of clubs in England have expressed an interest in Thwaite, but that the defender was focusing on the upcoming games for Australia.
"Michael produced one of his best seasons for club and country and he now has three crucial games ahead for the Socceroos," Holsgrove told Sky Sports.
"There is firm interest in England but his focus now must be with the national team." http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8743318/A-host-of-English-sides-are-chasing-Australia-defender-Michael-Thwaite
