NPLV / Community Football Club Dear FCBL member, In light of the impending NPLV changes, the Veneto Club Committee is seeking expressions of interest from current FCBL members to be part of a working group to assist with the possible establishment of a new community football club. The working group will consist of parents who are current FCBL members for the purpose of setting up the community club in readiness to commence operations on the 1st October 2013, pending the outcome of the Veneto Club’s application to the NPLV. Members of the working group will be charged with the responsibility to develop the framework required to support a community club within the Veneto Club’s required guidelines. However, it should be noted that the members of the working group are not elected committee members of the new community club and will only have caretaker responsibility until a new Committee is voted in by its members. Should the FCBL be accepted as an NPLV club, the community club will be an “incorporated” entity and as previously stated, a new committee will be elected by its members. The community club will be required to enter into a contractual agreement with the Veneto Club. Once the caretaker working group has been established, The Veneto Club will ensure to notify the FCBL community. Regular updates and progress will also be provided. The Veneto Club Committee believes that the establishment of the working group will facilitate the opportunity for FCBL members to shape and influence a new and successful community club.
