With the first season of Senior NPL completed in QLD have the regional areas of this huge state really benefited at all? I'm not against the NPL but feel many areas in QLD miss out and don't get value for money from their Football Queensland fees which seem to just prop up the elite competition.

While I can't comment on what families of younger players get out of it in terms of development etc however I think there needs to be arrangements made for things like accommodation and so forth for travelling teams.

Having teams from Townsville/Cairns fly the red-eye to Brisbane, play a game and then get back on the last flight back home all in the one day is ludicrous.

As a semi professional league you must understand that many of the players have work during the week. So I don't think that the travel is necessarily a bad thing.

Was great to see good numbers at the grand final.

Sorry, I think you missed my point I'm taking about the non NPL clubs in regional QLD.
So I guess the question is "DO NON NPL clubs get value for money from Football Queensland?"
I think not....apart from insurance what else do non NPL clubs get from Football Queensland?
