I thought Cousin was going to start for Hull, They may have had a goal by now if they had someone with a little more strength than Folan.
Not much in that Challenge smart play by Mascherano though.
Nice Goal on the rebound.

Liverpool don't particularly deserve the lead heading into the half but that's football.
Taking nothing away from the strike though that was great goal.

Edited by Diamsus: 26/4/2009 12:48:43 AM Spot on. Masch went down easily, but take nothing away from that strike. What a goal.

HT:Referee paid off big time. But as long as Hull lose im happy. But i hate when they lose unfairly. That was not fair at all. Im sure the referee whne he reviews it will start giving Hull some decisions their way.

Edited by Diamsus: 26/4/2009 12:52:34 AM Shades of Italy v Australia 06? Thats why i hate divers. It causes moments like that. I vowed never to support a dive. Even when you want to your team to win. Nooberano Should be Pepe'd. Edited by seriously: 26/4/2009 12:55:13 AM

Nice goal from Alonso. Masch was falling over then he copped a kick to the foot. Dont know what to make of it. Who cares.

Anyone read the Fix by Declan Hill yet? Could be an interesting read whilst we are tossing around conspiracy theories.

No way in hell that was a dive from Maschdog. We were aplauding him a couple of weeks ago for not diving in the box ffs. Youre just Liverpool bashing.

There's been a couple of questionable calls in Hull's favour aswell so hopefully we shouldn't see too much bullshit in the second half.

Youre supposed to let it sit for a while.. after you stir the shit initially.

Quote:He fell before Boaetang (or whatever) touched him = Blatant dive. Didn't look like it to me. Looks like he was caught. Inicdental contact, nothing we haven't seen a freekick given for before, but nobody would have thought anything of it if it weren't given. Edited by afromanGT: 26/4/2009 01:03:17 AM

Cbfd arguing when you have reasoning like that.

Have you even seen it again? First impressions are all well and good, but I (and obviously mk) have just seen the match highlights and it wasnt a blatant dive.

no, seriously hasn't had a chance to watch it again, he's too busy shit stirring. Liverpool haven't looked solid, but the stats are certainly in their favour with 70% possession and 4 shots at goal to 4. 83% pass completion rate too.

He changed directions and clipped the back of his left leg with his right, then boateng kicked his foot. Thats how I saw it immediately and secondarily.

At least i leave an option open to change my opinion. Unlike you going for glory straight away and shit stir to your fullest potential.

If it was a free kick it was a soft one however we have all seen free kicks given for less and arguing about it hardly changes the scoreline.
