Quote:Martins has more goals than Viduka since they have both been at Newcastle I can't believe I'm about to say this, but he's also played over three times as many minutes. That said, this season he has 8 goals to Viduka's none next to his name.

Quote:You cock, he did score but Howard the wanker Webb disallowed a perfect goal If Viduka scored, why did the scoreline read Fulham 1-0 Newcastle. Don't blame the ref =; Regardless of the ref's decision, he wasn't awarded the goal and that's what matters. Quote:Guest, Seriously, ha'way lads, stick together - no point infighting. Only takes either of your beloved forwards - or any of the others - to score one goal and you're season is saved. Gotta love Newcastle fans. Their side is 1-0 down and fighting for survival and they're busy arguing over which of their array of strikers is the shittest.

Equalisers to Sunderland and Boro:
1710: GOAL Gary O'Neil crashes in his fourth goal of the season to give Boro a glimmer of hope, blasting in 15 yards out from the right after good work from Tuncay. 1-1 Boro - WHAM
1712: GOAL Grant Leadbitter's cross from the left is missed by Petr Cech, who was under pressure from Kenwyne Jones, and Kieran Richardson takes advantage to drill in a leveller. Breathing space restored for Sunderland.

But its crucial they get decisions right at the end of the season when its a 60 million pounds and pride at stake and who know how much more if its more than 1 year. The sunderland match was long ago and relegation was not prominent then.

The sunderland match was long ago and relegation was not prominent then. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the matches at this end of the season are no different to any other game. Just because it's bleedingly obvious what the consequences of results will be doesn't mean that it's any less or more permissable to have poor decisions made now or at any other time during the season. You've got to take your lumps aswell. I mean, if that penalty hadn't been awarded, Newcastle would already be relegated wouldn't they? So really, it's no different to the referee making a mistake at this end of the season, consequence considered.

Stupid bit of commentary. Our breathing space is the fact that both Hull and Newcastle are losing. We can't create our own breathing space unless we are winning. A draw is of absolutely no use to us.
