If nothing else I thought Lucas moved quite well. He's handy when coming from deep, I wish rafa would use him like that more often instead of a half-arsed go between with Gerrard and Masch. But sitting so deep opens up the midfield an awful lot. Hawks wrote:sydneycroatia58 wrote:Arteta scores an injury time penalty to give Everton a 2-1 win over Fulham. Was this match on t.v? I couldn't find it on fox anywhere? Fox are only licenced to show 36 games for each side each season - don't ask me why - and that was one of the two games Everton/Fulham were designated to miss.

I believe the FA wanted a pretty major extra wedge of cash for live broadcast of ALL matches, so the realistic broadcast rights option was to take a reduced number of fixtures. In this case 36 out of 38.

Mourinho will certainly give them a run for their money though.

[rant]Well Liverpool. Not looking to have a go at you or anything...but that was fucking disgraceful. I stayed up all night to watch THAT. Why do you bother competing when you have no tactical awareness at all. Gerrard, Aquilani, Reina, Agger - good. Carragher - I wonder if this guy remembers what it's like to actually pass the ball to his team-mates? Long ball after long ball after long ball, all to Madrid players, because that's totally hard to defend against. Mascherano gets a knock when losing on agg. What does Rafa do? Bring on a defender instead of an attacker. WTF Rafa, WTF. Rafa out, Lucas out, that heap of shit Masch out, buy someone worthwhile, not blowing $20 million on a guy who has played 90 mins once in his Liverpool career. Keep Reina, Gerrard, Agger, Torres and Benayoun. Sell the useless fucks ASAP. Im not even a Liverpool fan and im disgusted by how they played. Liverpool, Go and get fucked.[/rant]

Mascherano was okay, he was also out of position... i don't even get angry anymore,i expected it, both games went as i predicted to my mate at uni... just eh, i don't know who to blame or argue about because i've done it for the past 9 months and i'm just tired of it now

You say Aqua played good and then dont suggest to keep him??
I'd add Johnson, Aqua, Masch (he was playing RB ffs) to that list.
You cant judge players on one game.

Charlton have scored in the 86th minute against Leeds (goal has been credited to a Neil Kilkenny own goal, but that's rough on the lad).
Promotion to CCC going to be a hell of a last day. 4 clubs within 2 points from 2nd to 5th!
EDIT - very late goal at Huddersfield. Last day will be 5 clubs within 3 points! 2nd to 6th.

Wow the last 7 minutes of that match were amazing. Sheffield equalised and they should have won it but is is Palace who survive after a 2 - 2 draw
