I thought it was a fair goal too Ben. I did note that Torres wasn't 10 yards back when Turner took the kick though. Turner was on the spot of the foul as well, he should have left it there and walked away.

Why the hell isn't Fulham v Everton the main game? Schwarzer vs Cahill anyone? And the bloody Viewers Choice is still broken!

Stuart Atwell really isn't doing himself any favours this season.

Or if it was on the spot of the foul when it was kicked.

The thing is surely common sense should prevail in this situation where you can clearly see Turner is just passing it back to his keeper. Should have blown the whistle as soon as Torres touched it to avoid any controversy. Then again this is Stuart Atwell we are talking about, so common sense doesn't really come into it.

What was that Pool fans were saying about starting to worry if they didn't beat Sunderland.
Is it time to start worrying yet?

2-2 at Anfield. Cracking bit of quick reaction from Gerrard.
Skrtel and Carragher have just taken each other out. Carragher off for stitches, Skrtel being bandaged up on the pitch to buy Jamie some time.
Ref cocks up again... Let's Skrtel leave the pitch, then return whilst ball is still out of play. He hasn't a clue.
Further confirmation that the ref is clueless... Steed Malbranque goes through the back of a Scouser, yellow card offence, Sunderland win the ball with - ref waves play on.

Gerrard gets a yellow card for leading with his elbow into Danny Welbeck's face. Probably the right decision - but if it had been reversed, Welbeck would have been off.
Oh, and Welbeck has to leave the pitch and isn't allowed to return until the ball is back in play... So the ref has learned the rules now.

Comedy - linesman tries to give a Liverpool lad off-side from a Sunderland back-pass... Within seconds, Sunderland break and as we're away the ref calls us back for a free kick in our own half. Then has to take a mouthful of abuse from Titus Bramble, clearly along the lines of "you haven't a f*cking clue, have you?"
