Can't say we didn't deserve to lose. Fucking pathetic. Everyone bar Nasri should be fucking ashamed.
Of course all week all we'll hear is about how Almunia should be shot and we should buy a new keeper. When in actual fact it's not his fault we lost.

Great day for Shane Smeltz. His first start in Turkey and gets the winner for Genclerbirligi from the penalty spot.
Celtic also recorded a 2-1 home win over Hibernian with goals from Brown and Loovens with Riordan getting a goal back for Hibs.

Hahahaha Daniel Agger. I knew we would miss a golden chance, and I was proved right. Easier to score than to miss. Oh well, that's the break!
Sunderland looked great for the first half of the second half, but once we equalised we were right on the front foot. Shame we couldn't capitalise.
Move on, stay positive. :) Good to see Torres looking better too.
Arsenal. Losing at home to WBA?

Very true. ;). Still, this is a dent for your title hopes. I doubt any of the other big teams will drop points at home to WBA.

It's only September I don't think it's that big a dent, especially with Chelsea losing today. That makes it less of a big deal. If Chelsea had won today then I'd say there is a problem.

I shouldn't have gone to bed after the WBA penalty miss. I thought that was it for them. Sounded like my type of second half.

Jeez, not looking good for my pool. Needing a titty goal to jag a draw at home to Sunderland is a worry.
My pre season pessimistic prediction of us salvaging a Europa spot is starting to look rather optimistic.

FT 2-2. Elmander had probably the best chance to win it in the end.
