Paulc anti-ethnic commnts: 1 You didn't hear the chants, see the national flag or look at West Adelaide's Greek national colours? Don't shoot the messenger. Who (aside from you) fucking cares? Good on them. How they present themselves in mainstream, when they're in the limelight and play A-League clubs, when the sponsors and advertisers watch to see if it's worth it, not to mention the field day the national media will have.............................you should care.

No-one else cares, I'm enjoying a surprisingly high standard and speed of football! Agreed. Entertaining game so far. Hoping for a couple of West Adelaide goals to make it more interesting

If anything, it was an entertaining first half. Can they keep it up?

Quite a few A-League players have played for state teams in the qualification phase, Anthony Costa playing today is still with Adelaide United IIRC, and Victory's Cristaldo scored for Hume City the other day in their 6-0 win. I wonder if there's cup-tying, as in will these players be ineligible to play for another team in the same comp? Probably not.

2-1 West Adelaide right back into it early in the second half in the 49th minute. For a short time there, I thought Adelaide City were going to start like they did the first half.
