glory out in the first round
Edited by switters: 23/6/2014 08:13:19 PM From a prediction point of view, South Hobart aren't doing bad. It's a fair tip. Problem is we don't know where the league ranks compared to the npl.

FFA Round of 32 draw will be live and exclusive on FOX Sports News on Friday June 27th. copied from the other thread .. does this mean Knights/South play off for a spot in the cup?? That would be a cracking match if so

Guarantees at least one A-League and one non-A-League club in the semis. Study this a bit closer: How the FFA Cup draw worksIn the round of 32 there are 3 A-League v A-League games. This guarantees 3 A-League teams into the round of 16. The seeding is 2 v 3 for this round (both A-league clubs), so one of the semifinalists has to be an A-League club. Edited by hotrod: 23/6/2014 06:36:54 PM You're wrong there. If all Pot A teams lose in round of 32, then only 3 A-league clubs in the round of 16 (Pot B winners). Round of 16 seeding is 14 vs 1, 15 vs 2 & 16 vs 3 (1,2,3 being the 3 remaining HAL teams). If they then all lose there would be no HAL teams remaining in Quarter Finals. The 2 vs 3 seeding is in the Quarter Finals, not Round of 16, you have skipped a step.

Thought I worked it through that there was a guarantee for one A-league and one non-A-League team in the semis, appears not. Oops. But definitely one non-A-League club will be in the semis. Be very interesting if all A-League clubs got eliminated after the round of 16. Great for the NPLs. Edited by hotrod: 23/6/2014 09:09:31 PMEdited by hotrod: 23/6/2014 09:10:34 PM

Just read that Wellington will play only away matches in the FFA cup? regardless of results or where they are drawn? lol, good luck with that.

As for the draw, I just want Brisbane Olympic to score a home game. Don't care who the opposition is.

Triple distance derby yo.
