And a good time was had by all.
I went along to the Broadmeadow v Strikers game, had cevapi, couple of tinnies on the hill, listened to the banter on the hill. Happy to put a few bob into their tin, since apparently they had to fork out for other stuff.

Loved the coverage.
The focus on one game with crosses to other games for goals was well done, and really made you await the next update. It was like watching numerous matches rolled into one :)

I only got home in time to watch the last 20 mins of ET in the Magic v Strikers and penalties but the glimpse I saw shows a very bright future for the FFA Cup and its future =d>
Well done fox as im glad they showed the penalties rather than a wrap up of the other game =d>
It seems like every game got crowd figure easily of four figures, what would they normally get on a weekend out of interest.
The round of 16 will be very interesting...I pray that South Springvale get either Victory or City at home.

Looking ahead to Matchday two fixtures . Newcastle Jets vs Perth Glory @ Magic Park Parramatta FC vs St. Albans Saints @ Melita Stadium South Hobart vs Tuggeranong United @ KGB Stadium Adelaide United vs Wellington Stadium @ Marsden Sports Complex. Why are Newcastle taking their game to Magic Park instead of playing it at Hunter Stadium? Don't get me wrong, it looks a beautiful ground. Would be sorely tempted to get along to Parramatta vs St. Albans, but I'm already attending the APIA vs. Wanderers friendly @ Leichhardt Oval. Hobart vs Tuggeranong is going to be a cracker.
