FC 3 , United 1.
I've been United's biggest critic. Have to credit United with a decent performance against FC tonight. They held their defensive shape against a pro team throughout the game, apart from a few FC accelerated attacks late in the game. One would expect a semi-pro team to run out of gas against a full time pro team.
That balding, stocky number 9 for United made did some incisive runs with the ball. Pavulovic should still be in a HAL squad. United often made one quick pass in the attacking third, that a teammate further forward was expecting.=d>
United battled for every 1v1 and generally displayed far more pace and energetic squeezing across the pitch in BPO than the insipid bunch I saw play last year. They fought for every ball.
Fair play to Sydney United. I have to admit I was impressed.=d>

-PB Would have been better to get Bentleigh then CCM in the possible semi. It is a good game although I find CCM games boring. I'm booking in Palm Beach v Adelaide United semi and Adelaide City v Perth Glory #perthcupglorybutnochanceintheleague
