Would be much better if they changed the final to being played on a weekend instead of sandwiching it in midweek.

Although I support Adelaide I think the final should be drawn at random and Perth given an equal opportunity to play at home. Would give the competition a bit more validity and meaning.

The cup final is going to be held on Australia Day in coming years. They couldn't do that this year because of the Asian cup.

Agreed, I'm sure the FFA learnt quite a few things through the process. I do think having state league teams around until late in the tournament has been good but it could have gone to random draw from the quarter finals as Fox broadcasted every game at that stage.

Always a big international cricket match on Australia Day - will probably determine where the final won't be held.

Outside of Adelaide Oval being preffered over Hindmarsh because of Hindmarsh small capacity I don't see that being an issue.

Adelaide Oval wouldnt matter anymore, Sydney has stolen the Aus day game (much to the sheer anger of people down here) hence the only ground effected is the SCG which doesnt matter to us.

You know, when we're told that WA only is excluded from hosting, and they proceed to schedule us to play 48 hours after our previous game, and all the other assorted pieces of bullshit we get from the FFA...

Postpone both of these games, play the final at a capacity crowd on a Friday night, Let SBS have the Saturday game instead (or broadcast this?), and Bam sell out, exposure, win win.
