Coydon should be up 2-0 with 5 minutes to go. Poor finishing, but a good double save by the Adelaide City keeper.

If I had to guess I would think NE have an Italian influence too. Although being founded in 1994 would class them as Anglo :d

NE Metrostars are based in Klemzig which was originally German but a lot of Italians moved into that area in the 50s and 60s. I don't think they're officially an Italian club but due to the people in the local area there are plenty of italians associated with it. All of the other clubs around it are italian though.

I wouldn't class most of those clubs labelled Anglo as an ethnic anglo club, unless they feature clear English symbolism/colours, or they have the identity of another club in England.

That and of Carlton SC which was half Italian half bogan. I do hope you're using the term "Anglo" as in "English", and not to mean "not Wogs". I don't know why people don't think it's wrong to call people of Irish or Scottish descent "Anglo". Edited by paladisious: 28/6/2015 08:01:19 PM

Edited by paladisious: 28/6/2015 08:01:19 PM Anglo-Celtic is an almost unique Australian phenomenon Quote:Anglo-Celtic people are those of British and Irish descent.[1] The concept is mainly relevant outside of Britain and Ireland, particularly in Australia but also in Canada, the United States, New Zealand, and South Africa, where a significant diaspora is located. Probably to do with the amount of Irish convicts/immigrants and mixing over the years. There is a fair amount of paddy love in Australia.

Congratulations to Not Adelaide City for making the ro32 :P mcjules wrote:milan_7 wrote:Yeah Metro are Italian. I'd say that they're just a local club in a predominantly Italian area, not neccesarily an "Italian" club. Edited by dsriggs: 28/6/2015 09:46:49 PM
