So I just came back - can I ask what was the deal with the Perth goal. I read it was called offside by the linesman, the Perth team crowded the ref, and he eventually overturned the decision. In the end, was it offside or not? I don't mind a decision being overturned, but it sucks if it was the right one to begin with.

Didn't get to see any replays, but it looked like the referee himself wasn't convinced with the offside call, he's gone over to ask the assistant with the flag if he was 100% sure. Obviously he wasn't, and nor was the dude with the nightstick behind the goal, and the referee has overturned it on benefit of the doubt.

Glory seem like a team with a chip on their shoulder. Having the Cup Final given to Adelaide for the better time zone and then the salary cap debacle could be a good motivation. Be interesting to see if FFA automatically give the Cup final venue to the opposing team again.
