Hume would have been a reasonable shot at home, but at aami will be minimum 5 goals, will Hume get to at least keep the gate takings? Makes sense from a financial point of view, could have played this at Epping and packed it with 10,000

Heidelberg attracted 11300 fans to a ground with 10k capacity, someone is angling for a job at the Glory.

great night out at olympic village go for the bergers would have made a killing. On a side note that ruined the night. The little shit kicker victory and city fans who started "fighting" after the game and almost hit my self and a little girl next to me with a flare. I hope you do get your head kicked in one day little rat.
Seriously brain dead moron fighting on the road throwing projectiles and hitting people walking past. All of them shit themselves when 3 cops rocked up. Absolute oxygen thieves the lot of them.

If the FFA want a Melbourne derby final they should get CIty to play Hume. Partallu looked unfit, City fullbacks looked vulnerable. The wingers looked fairly ineffective, the Uruguayan striker so and so. Where the rest of the squad is a mystery. The opposition would just have to stop Mooy shooting from the edge of the area.

Heineken wrote:Kamaryn wrote:So I just came back - can I ask what was the deal with the Perth goal. I read it was called offside by the linesman, the Perth team crowded the ref, and he eventually overturned the decision. In the end, was it offside or not? I don't mind a decision being overturned, but it sucks if it was the right one to begin with. Didn't get to see any replays, but it looked like the referee himself wasn't convinced with the offside call, he's gone over to ask the assistant with the flag if he was 100% sure. Obviously he wasn't, and nor was the dude with the nightstick behind the goal, and the referee has overturned it on benefit of the doubt. Poppa will be fuming, Was never offside - we were standing right in line with where the ball was cut back from. Nebo was behind the ball when it was played to him so he couldn't be offside. Luckily the linesman behind the goal has some credibility - is usually the 4th official for A-League games.

Gee those marquee players give noting to our game. a publicity stunt which worked massively for them. $10 to $20 entry. $10 a souv and $4 a soft drink and then ontop beer and spirits. Id say if the state league clubs can do this more often by all means go ahead

Not only did he add to the experience for fans and players but he did it for free! Heidelberg paid for accommodation and travel but didn't pay him for the match. As for the crowd, being there I can tell you it was packed. The whole thing is standing so capacity doesn't work the same as for seated stadiums. Easily 11,000 there.

Mooy is quality. Good night of football, hoping for a Victory-City final. Man the FFA Cup is great! Should have been around from the start but good to have it up and running.
Just watching the game made me hungry, I could practically smell the souvlaki through the TV screen =p~ =p~ =p~

Went to bed before the Perth game was over but glad they got through, means the final will definitely be @ AAMI Park or Etihad now. Doing the draw before that game ended was a bit sus, just reeks of the FFA trying to set up a Melbourne Derby lol. Wanna hope De Bonehead has booked Etihad  -PB

Another fantastic night for the comp. Did I hear correctly that our game against Hume could be at AAMI?

I also think the draw in future needs a bit of a shake up. Completely randomized (still pot the Top 4) but have the names of the teams inside the balls not just numbers. Looks far too likely that FFA have already rigged the draw to have the final in Melbourne as it is. -PB
