Yes, that was cringe-worthy that weird devil logo.

The RUFC lettering isn't the best. Would probably look better if they had a pitchfork and a football instead.

It looks ok to me.

It reminds me of the old style Brisbane rugby league

Congratulations to the Brisbane Strikers, who become the second Queensland member federation club to qualify for the 2016 FFA Cup finals.

This is Brisbane's third consecutive FFA Cup finals appearance, and join NSW clubs Blacktown City and Sydney United 58 in qualifying for all 3 competitions thus far.

Brisbane Strikers beat last years qualifiers Queensland Lions 1-0 in a tightly contested affair to qualify.

Brisbane Strikers road to the cup
• Eastern Suburbs (Brisbane Premier League) 0-2
• Southside Eagles (Capital League 1) 0-2
• Queensland Lions (NPL1) 0-1

Congratulations to Perth National Premier Leagues Mens 1 clubs Cockburn City and Floreat Athena on qualifying for the 2016 FFA Cup!

Both clubs will be debuting in this seasons competition, having successfully navigated the Western Australia qualification route.

Cockburn City are a club in South-Western Perth, located near the Fremantle region. They've produced many famous and talented Australian players who have played in both the A-League, former NSL and overseas. These include the likes of Scott Miller, s Robert Zabica, Jason Petkovic, Michael Petkovic, James Haran ( QPR) Sam Mitchinson ( Melbourne Heart) Ryan Edwards ( Scott Galloway (Melbourne Victory) and Riley Woodcock.

They are also coached by former Cockburn City junior, and club legend, and Perth Glory stalwart Scott Miller.

• 2-0 v Bayswater City (WA NPL)
• 5-1 v Gosnells City FC (WA State League Division 1)
• 1-2 v Stirling Lions (WA NPL)

Floreat Athena FC are a club located in the northern suburbs of Perth, in Leederville. Of Greek heritage, the club was founded in 1951 by Greek migrants, and already settled Greek-Australians.

Floreat Athena FC have had several dozen notable players from several nationalities represent them, including Bobby Despotovski, Stan Lazaridis, Ross Greer, and Jerry Karpeh,

Entering in the 5th round of WA qualifying
• 5-1 v UWA-Nedlands (WA State League Division 1)
• 6-3 v Armadale FC (NPL WA)

Not sure why they played a game less than Cockburn. Was that an error on Wikipedia?

Both NSW and WA's qualifications have now wrapped up. QLD, Tasmania's should follow shortly, with ACT, NT, VIC and South Australia's all in good time.

Cheers. In the 21 days leading up to the kickoff of this years tournement, I'll do an in depth analysis of each 21 member federation clubs so people can learn a little more about them. That's one aspect of this cup I'm really enjoying. Learning about all these little state league clubs that I've heard of, but never really looked deeply into. I'm loving how the communities are rallying around them all too.

Clubs like Floret Athena make paulc and rusty tremble in fear, but it's fantastic to see the community spirit they provide. :)

Awesome stuff! Big kudos to FFV for doing this. Shame FNSW couldn't have organized something like this for the final rounds of the NSW qualifying. Their highlights of the NSW NPL are good, and surely it's shouldn't have been too difficult to get a camera to most of the grounds for the final rounds.

Big step forward in the right direction. Hopefully it won't be long before we have more NPL streams too.

:) I gave up watching. Heard a bling about 15 minutes ago in futbol24. Said GG scored. Now there was just a buzzer. They have removed the goal. 0-0

Fb cant play videos properly let alone live stream. Youtube, periscope, livestream are just a few things I would have used before Facebook. Can't fault the effort though. It's a first.

Yeah I keep refreshing but the stream is stuck.

Same thing happened last week (the bling): Futbol24 said the goal went to North Geelong, but then was cancelled and went to South Melbourne

Definitely can't fault the effort. Could be worse: it could freeze during the Cup proper.

A shame FB can't play videos properly. You'd think a site that big would have the server capabilities. Unless it's FFV's broadcasting fault.
