I have the sliiiiightest hint of keen to travel to Jaffas or Edgy away games but I doubt I'll get to either. Can't see them scheduling Victory and Sydney at the same time. Fox Sports will want to broadcast the shit out of it, so the schedule will be rigged (but for the right reasons) :) I reckon for the main events we'll see: Jets Victory Wolves Sydney Brisbane Perth Nix Wanderers, simulcast with Floreat and City.

They will probably only go with 1 all a-league game as they did in 2015 Rd32. So I would think if sticking to the must show Victory theory. Jets vs Victory (maybe Roar vs Glory) Wolves vs Sydney Redlands vs Adelaide (would prefer Green Gully vs CCM) Metrostars vs Bentleigh (maybe FNQ vs Edgeworth) Edited by thewitness: 1/7/2016 11:28:12 AM

MikeDude wrote:Some great matches in there. Hopefully Sydney FC fans won't mind driving down to the Gong. Could possibly be the highest attended match of R32 so far if they're keen. It's closer than Gosford. We also have a large supporter base in the South. Getting to Wollongong from the Shire is a nothing commute. I'll be public transporting it. But I reckon a lot will come down. Maybe not all families, as inevitably it'll be a school night and people won't have time to go down due to work but I'm still confident of a big crowd.

Brisbane and Perth are the 3rd and 4th largest cities, and therefore probably the most marketable from the FFA's perspective.

I'd love to see FNQ v Edgeworth. The Cairns background will be amazeballs. With a sunset kickoff it'd be sweet.

Green Gully beating Central Coast is a real possibility. I wouldn't put Wollongong upsetting us past us either.

Last year we were hardly convincing against Sorretto in Perth. It'll be a good game regardless, but I'm not holding my breath on a convincing victory.

Which games do we reckon/hope will be on TV? Put my preferred schedule below. Tried to spread out the games in each city so people can go to as many games in their city as possible and teams in italics get the main game on TV. Thought the wollongong and gully game were the best for tele whilst games from Cairns and Darwin would also be fun (No Irish bias m80's although it will be excellent craic ). Plus Strikers get a chance to feature themselves again as an expansion candidate. Floreat and Redlands miss out as they are both rather unappealing clubs who won't be able to match their opponents on the pitch and Redlands will be particularity shit if they can't play at home so I'd rather watch the NPL clubs. Knights vs Cockburn would be fun but i'm sure the FFA would just love a good old-fashioned Balkan bash on tele. Matchday 1 Wollongong vs SydneyMelbourne Knights vs Cockburn Canberra Olympic v Surfers Paradise Devonport v Lambton Jaffas Matchday 2FNQ Heat vs EdgeworthHume v Marconi Redlands United vs Adelaide Wellington v Wanderers Matchday 3Gully vs Central CoastBrisbane Roar v Perth Glory Bonnyrigg v Manly United Metro Stars v Bentleigh Greens Matchday 4Shamrock Rovers vs Brisbane StrikersFloreat Athena vs Melbourne City Blacktown v Sydney United Newcastle Jets v Melbourne Victory

Redlands v AU at Perry Park would be good on tv.
CCM are a pretty uninteresting team to watch.
MC in Perth isn't so interesting either.
Other 2 for me would be between FNQ, Darwin, Hume and Blacktown matches. Seems highly unlikely MK would received a televised match.

I'm a bit off the idea for a televised Metrostars game. Foxtel will just make it all about Dodd like they did with there mate Harnwell last year for the Sorrento match.

Redlands would be good if they were actually playing in Cleveland and not 40 minutes away in the centre of Brisbane. Also agree that CCM are boring but Gully are a big historical club and their ground is perfect for these sort of ties. Will be a big crowd.

Any chance Roar may play at Balleymore or Perry Park?, this would be our first home game though I think for a FFA cup game so I think we would get a half decent turn out but not enough to waste the cash at Suncorp.

Probably depends on who the owners are. If the game is at Perry Park I would prefer that on tv than the other Brisbane game. I guess QE2 or even cbus is possible for BR.

any updates on when the rd32 schedule is going to be finalised, it sounded like a few days when the draw was made so I am guessing early this week ?

Plus any new recruits by A-League teams may not have had a proper chance to gel with their teammates yet. As in playing style, I mean.
