Quote:Scott McIntyre @mcintinhos 6h Reports suggesting that Holger Osieck is in line to be appointed coach of the Chinese NT. That would make the Asian Cup really tasty. https://twitter.com/mcintinhosPoor China :(

So the club teams in China have legit big dick coaches... and for the NT they went with Holger?
Ain't no 6'4" Josh Kennedy's in there to nod home lucky winners off crosses, Holgs. You're fucked!

I didn't mind Holger, anyone ever believe that it's just australia lacks any real pace, or any good players?
apart from kennedy, rogic and kruse, we have no real threatening players.
don't blame ol' holger.

Also tried by Holger: Burns, troisi, Williams, Davidson, Mooy, Nichols, Langerak, Ryan, Spiranovic, Leckie, Ruka, Goodwin, Brillante, Irvine, Rogic, Behich, Zullo, Sarota. Players integrated in their prime (who deserved it or performed): McKay, Milligan, Jedinak, Ognenovski, Brosque, Cornthwaite. He tested the waters, deal with it.

They can also get through on goal difference if they lose. If they don't lose by too much, and if Lebanon doesn't win by too much, then China will qualify by being the highest ranked team in third spot. I really want them in the comp. Huge audience. Huge economy. Huge potential for both them and their trading partner. ;)

The older player inclusions were stopgaps, when the team desperately needed regen. Your so delusional in your un waving support of Holger EG I dont intend to waste more seconds of my life debating this topic with you.

Cornthwaite was a stopgap and should never have been called up initially, however he clearly earned a recall. The rest earned their spots without a doubt. As for the young guys, he gave them chances and clearly wasn't impressed. If he thought they would get him better results, he would have picked them, simple as that. Rightly or wrongly...
