English Championship relegation battlers Yeovil Town are interested in loaning Adam Federici from Reading until the end of the season. Yeovil are currently sitting 4 points from safety and have already used 5 different goalkeepers this season including Wolverhampton Wolves' Wayne Hennessey and Manchester United's Sam Johnstone, with both player's loan deals already expired.
However, any deal will not be signed until the final day of the transfer window. Arsenal are considering bidding for Reading's current number one Alex McCarthy - with Arsene Wenger sending scouts out to watch the player on several occasions throughout January. Federici has made it clear to Nigel Adkins that he wants to be playing leading up to the World Cup, which the Royal's boss understands. Adkin's has admitted that interest is high for both goalkeepers and he expects to lose one of the two come the end of January.
