You have to see someone about it. I was in a similar mental state a couple of months ago but after consulting the doctor and some psychologists it has only helped me in the months following. If you need to talk about it or something I will attempt to help.

Advice from Dr. Listo: Get a belief system or try something new and different that is still within your comfort zone, it worked for me
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Every positive action I do results in a positive event, and the same with negative actions, so if I stop the negative shit then life will be improved a lot. I also religiously started working out and watching movies

That's up to you, I didn't because I'm stubborn and dislike doctors but do whatever the fuck you want

Yeah I'm not keen on doctors either really. They're annoying and cost heaps.

Kiwichick, you're right in that Depression isn't something that you can really self diagnose, it's difficult enough to tangibly diagnose in a professional capacity - especially when a lot of people don't see it as a serious illness - let alone a person diagnosing it themselves. It's definitely something that you should consider approaching with your doctor though. Just mention that you've been feeling a bit bummed out and you're not sure why and they'll have a discussion with you about it. There's a lot of little things that you can change like your exercise routine or something small in your diet that can make a huge difference to how you're feeling on a day to day basis. I find that I get bummed out when I've spent too long just sitting around the house doing not very much. It could be something as simple as your environment or something in your bedroom or something as serious as where you feel that your life is headed and a doctor or psyhciatrist will be able to help you to deal with this. Typically, Bonkers' suspension will end some time tonight and he'll find a way to hang shit on you in his Dr Phil capacity.

If you don't want to talk to a doctor, in Australia we have an organisation called Beyond Blue which helps deal with and diagnose mental illnesses. I'm not sure if they can help in New Zealand or if there's a similar program, but click around and see if there's something there that can help you. I'm not sure that they should be bragging about being "hitwise top 10, Jan-Jun '10" though

I've had it before and if you do have it then go straight to a psychologist before it gets worse and it starts affecting your school work.

H.M.A.S Adelaide was scuttled today off Avoca beach as a dive wreck - the frigate has actually been moored just down the road from me at the White Bay docks for the last 3 years while they got rid of the weapons systyms and prepared it for sinking. Fail government having fireworks come off it during the day time  I reckon they should have scuttled it in a more entertaining way - like gotten a submarine to torpedo it for practice. Heck, have a couple F/A-18 jets fly over it and bomb the crap out of it . I daresay our fighter pilots and submariners don't get enough real shit to practice with.

The problem with that is getting it to sink the way they want it to. Especially with so many bystanders there, a controlled explosion was necessary.

It's dumb how they always sink them straight down. It'd look kinda cool if they blew a dirty big hole in the front and let it go Titanic-style.

They have to do it like that to ensure it doesn't break up and end up drifting away from its intended location and into a shipping or fishing area.

Does anybody remember this ad from the movies. They played the ad before every movie for a couple of years. The funny thing is, they say it's the last ad, but there was always a few more afterwards . My question is, does anybody know the song for it? It's damn catchy, but i can't help but think it was recording and composed specifically for the ad? Anybody here work for Yulumba and know where i can get a copy?
