I think that Taggart, Duke, Juric are fighting for one spot, maybe 2.
Also I'd like to see Ruka there, his last game with the Socceroos I thought he was very good, gave us some speed and size up front.

Juric has the most raw potential, but Kewell (fitness permitting) could make a genuine impact.

I think Burns and Oar are firmly in A.P's plan as wingers. Burnsy seems to have developed that deep wide wing role. I think it came about when Jiminez was manager at AEK and he was clearly molding him in a Jesus Navas type role who he had had back home in Sevilla. Navas never scored many goals even prior to going to Man City, surprisingly few but he beat people from out wide with pace and skill like Burnsy can and a young Kewell could at Leeds.
As for outright leading the front line outside of Cahill and Kennedy I think it's anyone's guess.

Would love for Babalj to return from injury and make a late run but surely Leckie is the most realistic option.

Most of those aren't strikers.

Would like to see both Adam Taggart and Tomi Juric if for nothing else than experience heading towards the Asian Cup.

It would be interesting to see how Taggart would perform in a half decent side, he's done pretty darn well scraping the barrel at the Jets.

if there is going to be another one, it would have to be someone with some pace to keep pressure on tired defenders. i think ruka will be going anyway, especially now that kruse is out. kewell will have to battle cahill and kennedy for the old mans spots. (bye bye kennedy??). it will be either taggart or juric or ikonomidisisomsiss.

it will be either taggart or juric or ikonomidisisomsiss. Jesus, Kennedy has got to be the most underrated striker on this forum. Ex-bundesliga player, twice golden boot in J-League denied the third only due to injury, 17 goals in 33 international matches including one against Netherlands one of the teams we will be playing, at the peak age of 31. Despite all these there are constantly calls for him to be dropped. ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Ruka for sure. Most under rated player during the reigns of our recent coaches.

Rukavytsa definitely. Can't see any of the A-League'ers go except as depth and experience.
Why on earth Kewell?
