Edited by blackmac79: 13/2/2014 05:33:36 PM It's not updated because not everything is confirmed yet. I think. So far it's looking like a good fap page tbh.

I did it myself. Putting together a spreadsheet to keep track of all the games. Qld: http://www.foxsportspulse.com/comp_info.cgi?a=ROUND&round=1&client=1-9386-0-282589-0&pool=1SA: http://www.ffsa.com.au/NNSW: http://www.foxsportspulse.com/comp_info.cgi?c=1-2398-0-289805-0&a=FIXTURE

Only just seen that Wikipedia page and again it looks great. By June when the thing is full it may win an award for being the longest page ever though ;) - I'll put a link to it on Page 1. I used to be a bit of a Wiki-Wizard myself and still have an account despite hacking my mate's page who plays for Torquay United (League 2, UK) on a regular basis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashley_yeoman

I like how in the NNSWF Cup we have Cardiff City and Swansea... you do realise those hyperlinks take you to the Premier League clubs!
I don't condone fixing draws, although someone in NNSW needs to make this a match up in Round 2 if results go their way!
Also I should mention the FQ Cup is probably the most complicated of the bunch - teams playing in Brisbane will qualify via the Canale Cup. The top 2 teams will qualify for the FFA Cup and will also play a part in the Semi Finals of the FQ Cup towards the end of the local season. Einstein might be able to explain it a little better.

So the two Finalists of the Canale Cup will play in: - Canale Cup Grand Final - FQ Cup Semi Finals - FFA Cup - As well as probably the NPL or BPL finals around the same time.

It will just be a case of playing 2 games per week for a while. Hopefully the weather doesn't force this part of the season to get further clogged with rearranged league fixtures.

Matches scheduled across the country every weekend until at least mid-April, so plenty to keep an eye on. Page 1 updated.

Keep the updates going. :) it's looking great. Wikipedia has become a great source of information, especially for football.

Waiting on the Waratah Cup, the Cool Ridge Cup (Western Australia) and the decision from ACT about who gets their spot.

This all great stuff -pity its not united under the one umbrella ie Optus Australia Cup or who ever sponsor will be
It should of been a co ordinated kickoff right around the country on the same weekend
How much extra would it be to sponsor the whole thing ?

I agree and I think FFA are missing an opportunity. When they have the launch it'll be 'the FFA Cup featuring 32 clubs from across Australia', whereas they should be saying '...featuring 600 clubs from across Australia'.

After doing some research the canale cup will be in the third round, which is backed by Wikipedia. It's in line with past competitions.

Well by the looks of it BPL teams will join third round, I'm assuming that's when they will introduce that cup competition. Queensland qualification seems overly complicated.

The Canale Cup includes all clubs in Brisbane from the NPL, BPL, and Capital Leagues (1-4). They're mostly seeded and added at different stages though, but it's all still part of the Canale Cup (with the first round of games starting tomorrow). That competition will give 2 entrants to the FFA Cup. The other two spots from Queensland will come from the other zones.

From a Brisbane point of view, the Canale Cup and the FQ Cup are the same thing. At least until the finals. An interesting point is that the two clubs that make the Canale Cup Final will have to play in the Grand Final, as well as the FQ Cup Semi Finals, as well as the FFA Cup last 32.

I'm back from Logan Village where I was running the line.
Good to see a nice size crowd out at a venue that is literally in the middle of nowhere. Village defeated Tarragindi 1-0 thanks to a 41st minute penalty.
They were amused when I informed them that they were 27 more wins away from FIFA Club World Cup Champions!

Heard this result was the other way around. Would have been a huge upset otherwise.
