Do you think it's right that we have a guaranteed spot for each of North Queensland and non-Brisbane South Queensland, or should the remaining 4 regional clubs been thrown in with the final 4 Brisbane clubs for a random quarter final draw. I think that Australia, for the size and population needs constraints. Maybe one day we could do that but the result of not having regional qualifying is a shit load of forfeits. I didn't mean getting rid of regional qualifying all together. I just meant for the last round. I think one long distance trip isn't a lot to ask.

Whilst its very annoying that both South and Knights cant both progress...if they meet in the Quarter Finals it will be an epic match.

Not to mention that it'd hardly be a long trip for the non Brisbane SEQ teams. I think it'd be fair. But I also think there should be one interstate round before the Round of 32, so what do I know.

Have a feeling we may get bundled out, its been a very tough run from the get go, aside from berwick city playing sunshine gx away, Dandenong away and now either Gully or Knights is difficult.
Hume got the best draw, easy 6-0 winners last night and another bunny team in south springvale to qualify.

In an ideal work North Queensland would have it's own League and cup and SEQ itself only really deserves 2/3 teams going through so it kinda works out in the end. Generally i'm a traditionalist for these kinda things but i like that more regional get a chance to come through to the rd of 32. It gives Cairns Heat, Toowoomba Thunder, Palm Beach, Sunshine Coast Fire and Fury a good chance to mix it nationally and potentially sell themselves as expansion candidates imo.

Frequent lurker, infrequent poster here. Anyway, thought this would be something people might be interested in. Football Federation SA (FFSA) is pleased to announce that Saturday’s 2014 Coca-Cola Federation Cup Final between traditional rivals Adelaide City and West Adelaide will be streamed live. http://www.foxsportspulse.com/assoc_page.cgi?client=1-10180-0-0-0&&news_task=DETAIL&articleID=29917301

3 will qualify in the next 3 days. West, ECU & Bayswater for mine. What are everyone else's tips?

City, ECU and Subi
But I genuinely have no idea about them. Would love to see ECU through as lately every up and coming player seems to have been from them

I think it will be West today, but im hoping for a draw in normal time.
the record this year in the league between the two was 1-1 in first round, and last week West came from behind to win 2-1 vs City
