Knights deserved the win today, though had to survive a last minute penalty which was saved by May. Great win!

You reckon? Knights had 2 chances for 2 goals, south missed a penalty and had that double goal line clearance as well, rest of the match was basically rugby union trying to battle for territory on a waterlogged pitch, draw would have been a reasonable outcome imo. South have been awful from the penalty spot this year, missed a bucketload.

South Melbourne v Hume City at Lakeside Stadium for 2.45pm (under 20's) and 5.00pm (seniors) this Sunday has been postponed to a midweek fixture which will now take place on Wednesday August 19th at 6.15pm (under 20's) and 8.30pm for (seniors).

Yeah I do. First half was pretty even. After conceding straight after the break, I thought the Knights dominated the second half and chased the three points with much more intent than South. It was hardly a surprise when they went ahead. Definitely got lucky with a poorly taken penalty though. I thought the penalty was probably justified, but I was wondering where the ref found all that extra time.
