Don't understand why uskok would leave knights for Sydney United, sideways move at best.

Pavlovic has been average, in fact ever since oakleigh got him and the other cast of ex A league players they have progressively dropped down the ladder and are now 11th, he played crap tonight as well.

Werent Oakleigh winless and at the bottom of the ladder when he signed?

In regards to Uskok, where else is he going to go? I doubt there's A-League sides knocking

He is captain of the knights and imo one of the best players in the league, if he's got the bird in Sydney that's fair enough, otherwise it wouldn't make much sense.

Oakleigh had climbed as high as 7th and were knocking on the door of finals when bleiberg left and pappas came in and then completely capitulated, difference is they were playing good football under bleiberg and very unlucky early in the season, they are almost unwatchable now, a league reject central. Pavlovic has scored a few but don't think he has made the impact they were expecting, you could say that for all of oakleighs signings.

Yeah imo Pavlovic has been good whenever I've seen him, always troubling defences and definitely looks a lot bigger than he used to. That said, from memory most of his goals have been from penalties (I could be completely wrong though). I still rate him much higher than Sean Rooney or Kofi Danning, they haven't shown much when I've seen them this year.

They're a solid side, Katsakis is no tactical mastermind but he's got a strong squad. They'll either play in a 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 (with LM, 2CMs, RM and a DM) depending on who's available.
Their forwards, Daniel Heffernan and Kaine Sheppard, are both very strong and good in the air, they'll be a handful for pretty much any defence.
Reuben Way plays on the left of midfield, Kosta Kanakaris on the right. They're both handy players, neither is especially quick or tricky but they're smart, work hard with and without the ball and play a team role well.
Their CMs are usually one of, or both of Nejc Kolman and Andreas Govas, depending on the formation. Jack Petrie plays as the deepest midfielder and I think he's pretty crucial for them.
Their defenders are Jamie Cumming at RB, Steven Pace and Luke Byles at Cb and usually Les Doumbalis at LB. If they play with a back 3 then it'll be Byles, Pace and Cumming. Griffin McMaster is the keeper.

They don't have many glaring weaknesses, I think maybe their defence isn't the quickest and could be exposed with pace on the counter attack. If they're given a chance to settle, get numbers back & park the bus they can be difficult to break down. I've seen a few games where they've conceded majority of possession without giving up many chances and take the win. Their midfield doesn't contribute many goals either, apart from a blow-out 8-2 win over Green Gully when Govas snagged a hat-trick almost all their goals have come from Heffernan & Sheppard. If you can contain them then they don't have much going in the way of a Plan B

Cromulent's pretty much on the mark. What I will add though is that although I've not seen much of them this season (three games against South), generally Katsakis likes his sides to attack. Even when they've been relegated or struggling, it's not because Katsakis has died wondering. Their strength is up front; defence is solid if a little slow, but McMaster is a good keeper for this level; midfield is where you can get them. Cut the supply to the forwards by winning the 50/50 balls in midfield, move the ball quickly, and take away the emotional initiative. Govas can be a liability in midfield, as he's sluggish and sometimes lazy, but do not let him get any free room in front of goal, even from 25-30 metres out - he will see that as a licence to have a shot, as he has a very powerful shot on him. The same goes for free kicks, if you've got to foul them, make it wide.

North Geelong and Weribee won this weekend so dandy are out. Huge game next week since Weribee need to win to stay up. NGW just a draw

South won 7-0 so if it comes to GD safe to say they're taking the league. Bentleigh won 1-0 as well.

Gonna be an exciting final day \:d/

2 wins will get us top spot, +1 over bentleigh going into today ends up being +7 goal difference, It's 50/50 though, bentleigh already have the points on the board, but they also need to rely on south dropping points. We are playing some seriously good stuff now, helps when it's the 3rd game in a row with the same 11, haven't been able to do that all season.

NPL Victoria:
bottom 2 gets relegated to NPL 1
3rd bottom goes into playoff one off match against NPL 1 playoff winner

NPL 1:
minor premiers of East and West are promoted and qualify for NPL 1 Grand Final
runners-up of East and West playoff against each other with winners to play 3rd bottom from NPL Victoria.

what about Victory youth they are winning NPL1 are they to be promoted?
