Honestly the way people are reacting to this result many will be calling for Ange's head before the WC even starts.

We've seen the two matches under Ange so far and they have exceeded my expectations on how much Ange can do with the limitation of players. He won't go anywhere unless he's found out to choke during the WC.

Um, how can he choke? If he walks away with 15 goals scored against him I would be happy.

I don't know how you can possibly attach any blame Ange for any perceived "frailty'. Even if you discount the minimal preparation time, just look at the players at his disposal. Look at what clubs they play for. Our best player in this regard plays for a bottom-rung EPL side. We are ruing the fact that a championship-level defender will likely miss the world cup. Just accept that anything other than 3 very heavy defeats in Brazil will be nothing short of a miracle and look forward to the Asian cup and beyond, where we will hopefully have a genuine squad working together and improving game by game.

Please define 'Ange choking' at the World Cup, I'm fascinated to hear your expectations and what would or wouldn't be regarded as him 'choking' with the current squad and circumstances at hand.

He's been brought in with the Asian Cup performance as the main objective. He won't be going anywhere until after 2015.
