Not bad. Mitro getting games back in his legs is a good thing. Not that Oly needed him against ManU but if Fulham get relegated who knows where he ends up. Oly might buy him back at a discount to that 15m euro.

The majority of Greece's players not playing in the Greek Super League are not regular starters at club level due to different circumstances. Kyriakos Papadopoulos, Samaras, Mitroglou, Torosidis, Fetfatzidis, Karnezis & Karagounis are some examples of players whom will be still fresh & hungry to play football where as many players from Spain, Brazil, Argentina, England, Netherlands, Germany etc have just played 35 to 60 matches in the 2013/2014 League, Cup, European Leagues & Internationals. Their bodies are tired & busted but will get through on the emotion of playing in a World Cup in Brazil. In 2004 it worked in favour of Greece at the Euro's in Portugal were again Greece's players were playing 30 to 5 minutes of the bench for AS Roma, Inter Milan, Bremen, Bolton etc. Against France in quarter final Zidane, Henry, Pires etc were one step slower to the ball than a much more hungrier Greece team.

Kyricos Papadopoulos has not returned well from his acl. He is crucial for Greece to progress.

Samaras and a few others like karnezis will be playing for contracts and this is a good thing

I thought Greece has a difficult group, it's the real "Group of Death" instead of the Germany group. Every team has about equal chance to progress it'll be exciting.

Greece squad will most probably look something like this at Brazil 2014:

1. Karnezis
2. Maniatis
3. Tzavellas
4. Manolas
5. K.Papadopoulos
6. Samaris
7. Samaras
8. Kone
9. Mitroglou
10. Karagounis
11. Fetfatzidis
12. Kapino
13. Sifakis
14. Salpingidis
15. Torosidis
16. Siovas
17. Gekas
18. Ninis
19. Sokratis
20. Holebas
21. Katsouranis
22. Fortounis
23. Tachtsidis

Pushing for selection are also:
Goalkeepers- Glykos & Tzorvas.
Defenders- Vyntra, Fytanidis, Moras, Syropoulos & Malezas.
Midfielders- Tziolis, Christodoulopoulos, Dimoutsos.
Forward- Athanasiadis

I think Greece have absolutely no chance whatsoever, but people said that in 2004.
