City were rubbish. They were, but we deserve credit for our first half performance. Second half we just parked the bus tbph. Works for me! Hopefully we go at them at Anfield though, get a goal or two early.

Honestly I think I'd rather be 1-1 than 1-0 up. We'll park the bus at Anfield and that could catch us out. At least if it was 1-1 we'd be forced to attack.

Do you really want to kick the ball in Andy Carroll's direction? Park the bus for me :d Nah , I can see the game going pretty much the same as this morning, I didn't see the match but from what I heard though, Liverpool will dominate but City will be in with a shout during the match.

Scholes right on half time 1-0 \:d/
Rooney had a pen saved on 20mins, great save but how Knight stayed on the pitch, no one knows.
Scholes not the right man for United?

Liverpool why you no score?! D=
Blackpool have dropped to 8th after drawing with Ipswich 2 - 2. Thankfully we drew, they were beating us 2 - 0 for a long time.
Birmingham City thrashed Millwall 6 - 0 and Derby won against Coventry 1 - 0 so they move above the Seasiders, and 9th placed Reading play later today.
Gonna say not looking good for Premier LEague return.

SydCro - I am interested, what is the big difference?
Are you talking about Leeds and Bolton or the signings of both players?
Henry was bought back to Arsenal to help out during the next two months when they are thin on strikers. He is a cheaper, viable option, rather than going and spending money mid season. He is still a very good player, knows the club, won't cause problems and isn't a gamble, you know what you will get from him.
Paul Scholes, doesn't cost a thing, rather than going out and taking a gamble in the transfer market when Fergie wants to do his business in the summer. He is still a good player, knows the club, won't cause problems, and isn't a gamble, you know what you will get from him.
Win-win for both clubs for me.
You can argue the differences all day, there are heaps but there are also similarities.

There's a difference in the signings obviously. No matter what you say about how he only last played in a Champs League final in May, there is a huge difference between signing a player on loan for 6 weeks to help out just with squad depth while players are away on international duty and signing a player for the rest of the season who hasn't played for 7 months just because you don't want to go out and solve your midfield problems in January.

If he was out with an injury and came back after 7 months would we say piss off? And 7 months, there was a pre season involved there, everyone had time off, it wasn't half a year of competitive football. Like Arsenal and Henry, Scholes isn't going to be a key figure in every game, it does just as much for the confidence of the dressing room than it does on the pitch.
Can we solve our midfield problems in January? What player should we get in January?
Sir Alex doesn't see any value and I have to agree with him.

Ugggh couldn't even beat Wolves. They scored off a corner which was a goal kick though, frustrating.

That Puyol goal is only his 2nd ever against Real. Both have been assisted by Xavi.

Thought Nando was good, he just lacks a goal
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.
