Updated now after all the Sydney teams changes. Not a lot of unknown futures now, which make sense since there's only a week to end of contracts.
Also teams are slowly to take shape and it's interesting looking at the table how each team looks presently. Sydney, may be intentional by Arnie but with a high turn over this season, look set for another high turnover next time too.

Interesting to see he re-signed Dimitrijević - obviously sees something in Farina's signing. One wonders how Arnie will utilise Carle too, given Farina utilised him deeper and with ADP gone and Dimitrijevic signed, he could finally be utilised in #10?

Retired - Terry McFlynn Not re-signed - Warren, Powell Re-signed - Necevski, Jurman, Dimitrijevic New signings - Ibini, Smeltz plus chasing others. No decision made - Garcia, Chianese and Mallia Also yet to decide on whether or not to give contracts to any/all of Calver, Naumoff and Urosevski. Not bad at this stage of the year.

I think so, I have a strong feeling Carle will be back to #10 and Antonis sharing #6 and #8 with Dimitrijevic.

Yeah starting to take shape now with GA there but a bit behind with signings say for example against Brisbane/Adelaide. They were with WSW for squad spots needed before. I was also pointing out end of next season too, there will be more decisions to be made then. I guess Arnold will be hoping to poach some. It will look a very different team by then.

Hasn't Garcia already signed for some MLS (or MLS second tier?) team?

Edit: PG taking their sweet time sorting out whether they want Gallas or not. Now that they have their coach sorted, surely the status of Gallas can be sorted sooner rather than later? Especially as they just let Smeltz and all the other's whose contracts were up, go?!

Good man, just keeping you on your toes  Basically confirmation that Heskey is gone: http://www.fourfourtwo.com/au/news/jets-need-more-goals-says-stubbinsQuote:...Marquee striker Emile Heskey has left the Jets...
...“Emile’s moved on, he was somebody who was thought of very highly at the club and was a character who represented himself very well,” Stubbins said...

So I've done the last few signings (Valeri, Villa, McGowan, Madaschi, Barresi) so let me know if there's anything wrong. Table is inaccurate, I have to get that off my spreadsheet so takes a bit longer but will have that up next.
Would be nice to know about some of those in limbo. Technically they're not with any club now but be good if their teams gave formal news about whether they are officially released or not. Regardless, will wait til after World Cup, see what the status is, and just roll over the seasons listed, it'll be around pre-season time then, so still plenty of months before first October match.

So up to date as of Flores' signing for Jerks.
Table done too, WSW shaping up, City/Heart now with most spots to fill. Will included Villa as guest player, but as they aren't technically a squad spot, he's not included in their 16 players.
Players with unknown statuses: Brett Griffiths, Matt Simon (CCM) Paulo Retre (MHT) Nick Ward (NEW) William Gallas (PER) Joel Chianese, Ranko Despotović (SYD) Paul Ifill , Justin Gulley, Shaun Timmins, Hamish Watson (WPX) Jaushua Sotirio (WSW)
Total 14. At least we've had news of the Phoenix players, except for Timmins they're all reporting for training. Unknown everyone else really.

Awesome work as always, ATE.
I have someone on the case of finding out the Jerks intentions with Ward, as well as confirming if Flores is considered a marquee or not (wasn't mentioned in the article when he signed, but you never know).

Flores is confirmed (by the club, on twitter when directly asked) a salary cap player. Didn't respond to the Nick Ward question though.

Thanks.
I have a feeling Matt Simon is contracted another season but all I can find at the moment is the official announcement and that said one year, so I'll keep digging. I had to find out the long-way that Italiano had another year - apparently he extended his contract in January - only news was an old tweet!
One thing I don't know still is the Victory youngsters and if any of them are on NYL youth contracts. You'd expect so, but clubs don't appear to release that information easily for some reason.
edit - lol, 2k posts \o/
