My stream wasn't the clearest quality but I think that had been going on for a while, IIRC Rooney was complaining about something being thrown at him while he was lining up a corner midway through the second half.

So relieved to win though, it was so frustrating watching us carelessly pass the ball around in promising positions knowing City had the quality and drive to make us pay, but RVP came through with the goods. Rooney was brilliant and Valencia always looked threatening, I was stoked when I saw him on the ball and Clevs too considering all reports had neither any chance of being fit.
Loving the scenes of celebration from the lads, this clearly means a lot to them considering the way things ended last season, very proud to be a United supporter right now.

Yeah, that happened. You could see coins being thrown at him. Disgusting from City fans. Apparently a fan ran on the pitch and Hart had to restrain him. The broadcaster refused to show those pictures though.

Good game ruined by the end scenes. Thought City deserved a point, thought they looked the better of the two teams, but to their credit United took their chances when they had them, they could have had a penalty as well and Young was onside for that disallowed goal.

City had most of the ball and put a heap of pressure on at the death, but for the most part we enjoyed the better attacking play and took our chances when we had them. Could have been a completely different game if Young's goal had stood but thankfully it didn't matter in the end, wouldn't be surprised if Fergie still complains about it anyway though :lol:
