Not even worth asking. It's not only the slang, but the general spellings of words. Have a look at how many people just on 442 choose to use "ass", "mom" and "center".

Depressing.

I'm no slang nazi but "ass" pisses me off no end. It's arse.
Dont be a drongo, mate.

Now you're speaking like an Aussie. "Don't trust them Asians but their sheilas are a great root mate".

Its the bogan way. If its a boat full of Afghan men, turn em back but if its boat full of hot Asian women then build more detention centres. Hypocrisy at its best.

Its because most people cringe at the bogan slang terms.

I still hear the odd "How are ya love". :d

I'm bringing back "tinny" for "tin arse". (Now that's old school.)

Say it around the kids all the time and now they've started using it.

Bonza cobber.

Short for tin-arse (now archaic), "tinny" is also used in Australia to mean "lucky", as in "he's a tinny bastard". The term "tin-arse" and sometimes "tin-bum" are in common use in New Zealand.
