My guess is they are going to wait until they hit the magical 5 figures before making an announcement. I reckon they have it in them to get to 12k by the start of the season. Mind blank, can anyone tell me if Brisbane has an Aussie marquee on their books? Mckay.

14,386 now. With cat B renewals closing today we could break the 15k mark when they update the counter on Monday presumably.

Weren't WSW memberships above 16,000 last season? Why are so many people not renewing?

Add the membership totals for state league clubs. They will show you the true power of Oz football.

Cappuccino wrote:Weren't WSW memberships above 16,000 last season? Why are so many people not renewing? It's hard to tell if that number is accurate. The club is a fair way behind still with processing. Also lots of people move or can't renew for whatever reason. I don't think you'd see 100% renewal for any team in any code, that includes broncos and collingwood. The beauty of the capping of our crowds means that the member number shouldn't get below max as there are so many on the waiting list and many more I'm sure that would take up a membership if they were available.

And if that's the case it would be 90% retention. Don't see how anyone can whinge about that... Especially considering there is a waiting list in place.

Big jump for Wanderers over the weekend to 13,787. The renewal period is now closed but there are still quite a few members who had difficulty renewing that have to be processed over the phone.
