Another interesting stat is the Cove is now ~95% full with only 180 seats remaining, apparently the most full of members its ever been - new rules on Active Support changing things perhaps?

Melb Vic hitting 20K, Brisbane Roar closer to 11k then SFC, Newcastle jets to 8K & what about WSW hitting 16K!!!!

WSW need to lift their game.
For the Mariners to have 4300 members is great for a base of only 300,000

WSW have a base catchment of at least 2,000,000 you guys should have at least 28,000 members. Not even Victory has that many.

Get a grip and stick to the facts.

Moot point, WSW cannot add members due to stadium restrictions. I think the Mariners are doing ok for what its worth, but they need to be more innovative to find more members.

Point taken but I doubt WSW would get to 28000 and they would have to be a lot higher than that to be in a position to dis CCM numbers.

It's a given that Victory, Roar and WSW will hit their next rounded thousand within a day or so if they haven't already.

Syd FC and City actually have a battle of getting there before round 1. I think they will both get there but will be tight. FC to pip it first though\:d/

Don't WSW have waiting list of like 4000 people that have paid a deposit to just sit and wait their turn? To be fair Parra stadium is capped at 16k odd for members. If the stadium was 30k i reckon they would get 25k members. Irks me to say it but it's true.

If given a chance I reckon WSW could become the first Collingwood of the A-league (to an extent. Not same figures obviously). Not now but within the next decade if they totally outgrow Parra, either they will lobby for a major upgrade or move somewhere else. This of course if they are able to achieve waiting lists in the 10's of thousands which may not seem that unreasonable.

In saying all of that, the real strength of the club will be seen when they have a disastrous season or 2 in a row. If they are still achieving same numbers then you know they will remain a powerhouse for decades to come.
