Not sure if this has been mentioned but MVFC sent out an email stating there are 2000 North Terrace members and 1,700 South End members. Wowee.

really happy with adelaides numbers, if we can make or perhaps even win the grand final this season. We could put on a real push for 10k next year. Something I never thought possible a few years back.

FFA might hit their 110,000 membership target after all. Outstanding.

Hard to see where the 400 extra members Jerks need for 10k members are going to come from - particularly after Friday night.

Jerks numbers haven't been updated for a while now. I assume this is laziness on the clubs behalf. I still don't expect us to have cracked the 10k though.

And the fact that we've beaten the number we're currently on either 2 or 3 times, is a huge warning signal because we're meant to be improving, getting better, increasing memberships and not losing them. The on-field results are pretty much the sole reason we're down, unfortunately.

Obviously sport on the Hunter has taken a hit and I reckon Knights will take a hit too.

Davo, I guess you and I could almost retire now - certainly seems some of the clubs have, in their reporting. :p Still interesting to see there still some growth left at some clubs. perthjay85 wrote:Glory just had on the big screen over 5,530 members. A-League.com.au on 26/11 wrote:Perth Glory: 5,615 members Woah, seems Glory are going 'relatively' gang-busters now?! Maybe positive word-of-mouth/reputation starting to kick in, reap rewards? Hopefully we can hear some word from Glory about their member numbers, especially IF they are nearing 'club record' territory? The current mark 'must' be nearing or even exceeding, the member count of the last couple seasons by now, surely? :-k Edit: Infact, given Perthjay's post - I've attended some PG games at nib too, and haven't seen/noticed the membership number being promoted - so perhaps some form of milestone HAS been hit by the club? Perthjay, did the screen and/or ground announcer say anything to accompany that number, e.g. 'A new club record!' 'Congratulations Perth Glory/Thank you fans for taking us to a record amount' or some such? :-k Edited by GloryPerth: 26/11/2014 08:35:40 PM
