One of the things I like so much about the WC, is all the different styles on show from different countries.

Also, that countries have only the players they have in their country to choose from. They are not corporations who buy a player for any problem position they have.

WC is the ultimate football.

I find it a shame that there aren't more competitive cross confederation games outside of the world and confederation cup. Sure the world cup is the pinnacle of that but it seems quite limited to only have these games in the World Cup, smaller confederations like AFC, CONCACAF and OFC get less opportunity to test themselves against the best.Plus we'll never see games England play Australia on Wembley for points under the current system.

Maybe expanding the World Cup Qualifier Play Offs for teams that don't finish top is a way to go or having a cross confederation play off for teams that finish second in their regions Cup.

That second one would throw up interesting games like Italy having to go to Burkina Faso in Central Africa or USA to Australia.
