Chile deserved a win there, but some lives have probably been saved by this result.
Brazil is not playing well.

Brazil is not playing well. Thought Brazil had more chances but wanted Chile to squeeze through. Bad luck lads.

Brazil could have so easily lost with chile hitting the crossbar right at the end, why on earth scolari keeps this 3 up front with Hulk I dont know, they need another attacking mid, just Fred and Neymar would be enough. Riots may have kicked of country wide if Brazil lost.

Reminds me a bit of Australia vs Italy. Brazil will start to improve now I think.

Penalties are a brutal way to go out. Bad luck to Chile, they had a great cup. Was hoping they'd go a bit further, but it's always going to be difficult to beat Brazil in Brazil. Still, a country to watch in coming years! I've developed a soft spot for them.

thought Brazil shot themselves in the foot with the long ball, they persisted with it long after Chile were tired out , and they are like Japan if you don;t have a good target man don't play one.

Congrats to Brazil, although I've never seem play so much long ball, and with the amount of physicality involved its certainly not the jogo bonito.

Good work linesman.
Hard for him to see that given he is about 5 metres away.
