Apologies all but i really have no-one else to discuss this with so i need to put it out to the forum. If you dont feel comfortable to respondvthennplease disregard.
As this is my first season playing this 442 fantasy format I'm kind of flying blind.
I've looked through my squad (just the ones i have confirmed) and have estimated that I'm good for about 35-40 goals. I understand you only need 1 goal to win some weeks whilst you could lose with 3 (or even more) but essentially it all boils down to goals for and I'll be averaging a goal a week at this rate (hopefully more with the players I eventually pick-up).
Does anyone know roughly how many goals last season winner had ie is 35-40 close of still 15-20 short?
As I said above feel free to ignore this post (afterall this is a competition) but if someone does feel willing/able to share I'd be very grateful.

So 45 goals would certainly make you competitive. Sure it's not 83 (Imno did we get the drug testers down last season that's insane!) 'spose it made up for the season before!
Quick question - if you have a player get injured is that just bad luck...???

Unless the rules have changed from last season (worth asking imno) - yep, it's just bad luck and you're stuck with the player. Pretty sure afro (and others) were playing with 1 fit player a week at one stage :lol: Unless it has changed since last season (again, ask imno) you're allowed to trade players between teams (last year I'd hazard a guess that about half a dozen trades were done over the season - so not a lot). So just say I offer you Player A in exchange for Player B, and you agree, that's legit. Pretty sure you can't offer 2 players for 1 player though, assuming it will make one team go over the max amount of players for their team.

Yup. At one point last season I was down to just Jon Walters trying to score my goals. Imno should clarify, but I'm fairly certain the max of 5 squad members applies throughout the entire season (until we add the extra in Jan?). Maybe if you only get 4 players in this initial draft, you can trade 1 of them for 2 of someone elses and that'll leave both users under the player size cap. Imno - do your thing, resolve this potential complication for us bud!
