Can't see any problems with it. Intentionally handling the ball in the box trying to stop a goal. How was the Ox (Gibbs) to know it was just going wide?

Doesn't matter if he's not to know it's going wide. All that matters that it was, and that's why it will, or at least should be, rescinded.

I'm sorry, it's going wide so it's not a red card, quite simple. Whether Ox knows or not is completely and utterly irrelevant.
